JEFFERSON’S COFFEE SHOP - Hoboken, NJ

The goal of this project was to create an elegant and welcoming space for coffee lovers. The design was tailored to owner’s personality and taste. He is passionate about both coffee and historical buildings. The original layout was narrow and mostly developed in length, with a lack of natural light. This was a challenge in terms of re-arranging the space.

We install a window and a glass door looking through the garden at the back-the darkest area of the space. This arrangement compells customers to sit and find a peaceful place that had been underused. By removing the cover of the wall, we exposed a beautiful brick wall that imbues the space with a historic charm.
